"It's impossible to be in the country and be in a bad mood at the same time!" After leaving a 40-year career in banking in Houston, Lila joined Round Top Real Estate in late 2011. Lila is a native Houstonian and a graduate of the University of Houston. She has strong lifelong ties to the Round Top area and loves and appreciates all Round Top has to offer. Lila's great grandparents emigrated from Germany and settled in northern Fayette County. Her parents and grandparents were born and lived in the Round Top area. She is proud to now own a part of her grandparent's farm. Lila's husband, Barton, was born in Burton and grew up in the La Bahia community. They have one son, Phillip Brau Garlin, a graduate of the University of Kansas, who lives and works in Houston. Since Barton's retirement from Chevron Corporation, they have ranched on the family properties. The La Bahia property has been continuously owned by the family and kept in agricultural operation since the early 1870s, gaining it the proud recognition as a State of Texas Family Land Heritage property — a "Century Farm." Lila's history of the area and her love for this part of Texas gives her a unique perspective to share with her clients. Lila enjoys her association with several local organizations — The Sons of Hermann Round Top Lodge #151, the Round Top DYD Club, the Carmine Lions Club, the Republican Women of Fayette County, the La Bahia Turn Verein, the Navidad Valley Cattle Women, the Carmine Chamber of Commerce and the Walhalla Homemakers Club. She attends Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top.

Pam Langford has all of the qualifications, talents and background needed to be the best possible Realtor. Over and above her past experience in accounting for an oil and gas company, Pam has spent the last two decades as the CEO of her household – that is, as a stay-at-home mom raising two now-grown children and developing invaluable skills that are assets for her clients – talents like organization, diplomacy, patience, commitment, negotiation and compromise.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Pam moved to Plano, Texas in 1974 before settling in Houston in 1997. Having purchased and sold many homes, she knows from experience the ups and downs of the home selling/buying experience and believes that knowledge can be helpful to those relocating to Houston. “I would like prospective clients to know that I am on their side and will help guide them to their best decision,” says Pam.

About choosing a career in real estate, she adds, “I spent 21 years attending to the high calling of being a mom and wife, and instilling in my children that they can truly be whatever they desire. They are off to college with confidence and it was time for me to apply that same philosophy to myself, become a Realtor and help others achieve their goals.”

Pam and her husband, Tom, are residents of West University, which she believes is a very special place to live, but also love their weekend home in Round Top, Texas.

"Weekenders" in Round Top since 2003 when they first bought property, Linda and her husband decided to abandon their West University roots and become full-time country residents in 2015. She is well versed in the local area working across multiple counties, including Fayette, Austin, and Colorado. Her passion is assisting clients in finding the farm or ranch that is the best fit for their family. Whether her clients are seeking a primary residence or a second home, she is keenly aware of how important it is to find a tranquil and relaxing setting that is indicative of this beautiful area.

Over a period of 30 years, Linda worked in the oil and gas industry. She was an international oil trader for a major oil and gas company focusing on Latin America. She traveled extensively in Central and South America. Dealing with customers on a daily basis, she found that communication was the key to developing successful working relationships. Negotiating was always her strong suit, but also trust and mutual respect with her customers which attributed to her success and long term career.

Linda discovered that negotiating and trading large volumes of oil served as a perfect platform for a career in real estate. As a trader she dealt with multimillion dollar transactions which ties in beautifully to negotiating luxury properties.

This consummate professional goes above and beyond to assist her clients in achieving a seamless transaction from contract to closing. Her extraordinary communication ability woven into strong negotiating skills, organization, problem solving, honesty and high ethics, enables her to achieve a "win-win" result for all parties.

A native Texan, she was born in the Panhandle. After graduating from Texas Tech University, she moved to Houston which had been home until her recent move to her farm in Round Top. She is proud to have called herself a Houstonian and still has strong ties to the city.

Linda is fully immersed in the Round Top Community. She serves on the board of Friends of Winedale as Vice President. This is an organization that supports the Winedale Historical Complex which is a division of The University of Texas Austin's Briscoe Center for American history. She is also a member of the fundraising committee for the Round Top Public Library and First Presbyterian Church of La Grange. She enjoys entertaining friends and family on her farm and when time allows, she enjoys traveling.

Jack brings a wealth of knowledge in wildlife, native plants, and country property experience. His professional life has been spent in sales, most of that time working with rural clients in central and south Texas. Building strong, lasting relationships has been the key to his success over the past 30+years.

Jack grew up spending time with family on his parent's ranch in the Texas hill country where he learned to love the land from his father. He also spent many years working with his father in law on the family farm near Hockley.

While at Texas A&M University, Jack studied Wildlife Fisheries Science, Forestry, Biology and earned bachelors degree in Animal Science. This knowledge along with a lifelong love of hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors, has giving him a broad knowledge base and insight into farm and ranch property.

He and his wife Laurie moved recently to their property in Fayette County near Fayetteville, Tx. They have two grown kids with wonderful spouses, three grandchildren and lots of family. They are leaders in their church, Grace Bible Church and involved in many charitable organizations including Camp For All in Washington County.
In his spare time, Jack enjoys camping, gardening, long walks with his dog Charlie, hunting, travelling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
